How do i go natural with my hair?

am black and had alot of hair (afro) i cut off my hair. first of all because its almost summer. its gonna be real hot and second. because my hair used to fall of alooot. and third. because i wanna go natural. wanna start growing my hair afresh and have that thick thick thick afro. but that problem is. whenever i dont relax my hair. it stops growing and starts falling off. so help anyone? wat should i use or do?

Your hair has not stopped growing it breaks because the the demarcation line (that the part of the strand where your relaxed and natural hair meet) is not kept up. If you want to transition for a long time then you have to take care of that line. The best way is to use hydrolyzed protein such as silk -It's light enough for natural and relaxed hair- and to use it on a regular basis.

With your demarcation line getting proper nutrients it will absorb moisture and the protein/moisture balance will be achieve allowing you to transition longer.

Things to look for in your products (or add to your products) to help you transition
1.) Silk or wheat protein
2.) Ceramides (walnut oil, sunflower oil, wheat germ oil)
3.) Hibscus or mustard oil (for you new growth it silkens the hair, be careful w/ the mustard oil though it heats up)

4.) Coconut Oil
5.) Squalene
6.) Water

Techniques to help you transition
1.) Using steam
2.) Detangling hair before washing or conditioner-washing
2.) Washing hair in sections
4.) Braids, twists, sew-ins, coils, bantu knots ect
