Whats the best brand of Probiotic pill?

Looking for the most bang for buck probiotic pills, have seen numerous brands (Jarrow Formulas, Nature Star, etc;) and was wondering if anyone had experience with them.

Jarrow is good minus th gelatin cap. If you open them into your mouth and trash the capsule they are good though. They used to taste really good too but recently (last year) they changed their formula and I am not so happy with their quality.

I started buying this blueberry or apple pro96,(also it is nondairy) it tastes so good the kids think its candy and I have to hide it from them. I get this for the kids when they have to take antibiotics or get yeasties but I use it too.

You absolutely have to get a refridgerated probiotic. I see ones on the shelf at the stoire all the time and it is just impossible that any llive strains would be alive or effective after being at room temperature. I believe these are a waste of money.

Also any dairy derived probiotic that is not organic you will have to worry about what drugs and feed the cows were fed as well as all that goes with that. And possibly sabotaging the effectiveness of the probiotic by causing the leaky gut syndrome you are trying to eradicate.

Also check the expiration dates thouroughly. I saw some on the shelf at HEB that were 2 years expired. (im not kidding)

It is a long thread spanning 3 years but if you search though it you will find testimonies as well as good facts on different brands types and ways to go about using probiotics.
