What happens if I take double dosage of this "Nature's Bounty - Maximum Strength Melatonin"?

I was wondering if taking double dosage may increase the effects, or might that dampen the results?
One pill doesn't seem to help me sleep, so I thought 2 might be better, I even tried it once, but it still doesn't seem to be working very well.

It is safe, I take the same thing and most nights I take 2. Make sure you drink a full glass of water with it, this will help dissolve the pills and help Your Body absorb it more readily.
