garlic 1000mg odourless ???
I usualy take 500mg of garlic as a supplement but holland and barret started doing 1000mg of garlic tablets so i brought some and took them at lunch time and its now 1:22 am and i am sweating and my tummy is not feeling too good i think i have bad heartburn. I know thats a commom effect of garlic i have had this effect when i have taken 500mg on a not so full stomach.
When i took 1 x 1000mg garlic tablet it was after eating well.
Will the heartburn wear off after a while?
I like garlic but i guess too much gives you gas.
Also can you get immune to these effects of garlic once you been taking it for a while?
first of all, garlic is not seen as a threat to your immune system and doesn't threaten your health by means of your antibodies. Antibodies attack foreign materials in the body and since garlic is a nutrient, your immune system won't attack it.
I request you to stop taking those pills for at least 2 weeks and also have the usual balance meal. After the 2 weeks, you can take garlic in 500 mg, not 1000mg since Your Body is not used to over consumption of garlic.
