Why does Taurine make my chest tight - feels like asthma?
I'm on a great diet called the Allergy and Asthma Cure. It's a great diet and rally helping. I cut my meds down by 75%. I started taking Taurine this morning. Couldn't find a dose lower than 500mg to start with, so I emptied the capsule until only a quarter was left and took it.
With an half hour, my chest got tight like it does when my asthma and allergies act up. It lessened over the course of the next five hours. The great news is that I've never felt so relaxed! Although I felt a little drugged when I first took it. I have panic disorder and agoraphobia and heard it's great for that. I believe them!
What causes the chest tightness? Should I continue with the Taurine? My Blood Pressure was 95/68 last time I got it checked. I'm also on Flovent, Cal/Mag, Fish Oil, probiotics, Vit. C, Aloe, Chromiun, B-Complex. Enzymes, Ginger and Gingko.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
that could be a sign that it's working. i'm driking a drink with taurine right now. this never happens to me. also, your taking it in higher doses, so it just p rob means its working. you also took a lot of pills so it could be a combo or not the taurine at all. it could of just been astma. good luck.
